Please be advised that trash pickup originally scheduled for this past Monday will now take place tomorrow morning beginning at 6:00 a.m.
Additionally, snow removal operations will resume tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 a.m. Snow removal was delayed due to the Police Department having to ticket, tow, and remove approximately 100 vehicles from city streets.
To allow crews to safely and efficiently complete snow removal, all vehicles must be removed from the roadway by 8:00 a.m.
This applies to the following streets and avenues: 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th, and Clinton Streets, 3rd through 9th Avenues from 155th Street to 19th Street
If anyone living in this area is expecting visiting nurses or contractors tomorrow, please inform them of the snow emergency and encourage them to listen for police vehicles or to park elsewhere.
Any vehicles remaining on the roadway after 8:00 a.m. will be subject to ticketing and towing.
