The City of Watervliet has called a Snow Emergency for Monday, January 26, 2026, and Tuesday, January 27,206.
Due to the snow emergency residents must move all vehicles off the roadways indicated below immediately to allow DPW to remove the snow.
Any vehicles remaining on these streets as plowing is taking place will be subject to ticketing and towing.
DPW will be clearing the following streets, in this order on Monday, January 26, 2026, beginning at approximately 11:00AM.
- 19th Street’
- 2nd Avenue
- Broadway – from 25th Street to Congress Street bridge
- Grotto Court and Ball Place
- Third Avenue in Port Schuyler
