Beginning the week of July 20th Luizzi Contracting will perform test pits for underground utility assessment in the Port Schuyler area as part of the ongoing CSO Elimination Project.
Anticipated work zones include 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Streets, as well as 5th and 6th Avenues.
What to Expect
- Traffic Impacts: Temporary lane restrictions, localized parking closures, and minor traffic delays may occur near the active work zones.
- Noise and Equipment: Heavy machinery will be operating to excavate and safely backfill the test pits.
- Safety First: Please use caution when driving or walking through these areas, and follow all posted work zone signage and flagger instructions.
