The City of Watervliet, in cooperation with the New York State Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, will be holding an Informational Session regarding the
development of the city, State, and Federally Funded Watervliet 25th Street Corridor Reconstruction (PIN 1762.39) project. The project includes reconstruction of the 25th Street
corridor from the Town of Colonie border at Crabapple Lane to the Green Island border near the Interstate 787 bridge. Planned improvements include roadway reconstruction, pedestrian facility
upgrades, and drainage improvements.

The purpose of this meeting is to gain public input, ideas, and comments for the development of this project scheduled for construction during the summer and fall of 2027.
The Information meeting will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2026, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Watervliet Elementary School 2557 10th Ave #1, Watervliet, NY 12189.
Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and ideas to the meeting where an open forum question, answer, and discussion period will take place with representatives from the city and
the engineers.
